Golfer Tiger Woods’ mugshot was both iconic and incredibly sad when it was released following his arrest for a DUI. In the photo, all of the former golf champion’s personal struggles are written on his face – his eyes are tired, his expression dimmed and no smile to be seen.
The mugshot is extremely memorable, so, it’s not surprising an artist in Melbourne, Australia, took the photo and made it into a giant graffiti mural.
The picture isn’t new, as it seemed to go up in July, but it’s hard to deny how jarring it is to look at. The life-like graffiti encapsulates Woods’ personal struggles perfectly. It’s a sad moment that’s brought to life.
