Bing Maps introduced a new feature called Street Slide that lets you continuously pan up and down the street. The new feature takes advantage of street level panoramas so you can take a virtual stroll down the sidewalk. Street View in Google Maps and still the majority of Streetside in Bing Maps only lets you see those areas where vehicles snapped photos from. By overlaying street level panoramas, the new Street Slide feature gives you a perfect look as you move down the road. Check out Street Slide in action by viewing this straight New York street or this steep and twisty road in San Francisco.
