Life after football is a process for many athletes. Finding the right fit is key. Staying out of trouble is a big part of it.
Former NFLer and former Pro Bowler Brandon Browner isn’t staying out of trouble as of late. He was arrested on Tuesday for making criminal threats which is a felony charge. The reported alleged victim is a woman.
Browner was part of the original Legion of Boom with the Seattle Seahawks and was viewed as one of the most intimidating players in the league. Now 33 years-old, Browner was cut by the Seahawks in April 2016 as he tried to return to the team after stints with multiple other clubs. He has 12 interceptions in 61 regular season games and two Super Bowl championships as well.
Browner was held for three hours before posting bail of $50,000. Browner was arrested in La Verne, California, a spokesman for their police department was unable to comment as the investigation is still ongoing.
According to his booking, he is listed as 6’3″, 215 lbs. As of this writing, no court date has been set for Browner.
