The Houston Rockets are up for sale and are expected to draw a large amount of big name potential buyers. One of the biggest names revealed as a buyer? Beyonce.
Bloomberg reports the music superstar is thinking about investing in the Rockets.
Pop superstar Beyonce, a Houston native, is mulling an investment in the National Basketball Association’s Rockets, according to people familiar with the matter.
Beyonce is a great fit for a potential investor. She’s from Houston, is regularly seen at NBA games and is one of the highest-paid stars in the world. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that her rapper husband Jay-Z used to be a minority stakeholder in the Brooklyn Nets – so she’s got some experience in the field. But, let’s be real the best part about Beyonce investing in an NBA team is the fact BEYONCE WOULD BE AN PART-OWNER OF AN NBA TEAM. That’s amazing.

The music industry and the NBA beautifully coexist. But adding Beyonce to the mix would put the NBA over the top. Plus, it would give Justin Timberlake (minority owner of the Memphis Grizzlies) some competition for most famous minority owner in the league – actually, let’s be real, nobody can top Beyonce. Please, make this come true.
