Vernon Wells is long retired and he had a fine pro career, playing a large portion of it with the Toronto Blue Jays. During his career, he made over $110 million as a 15-year veteran. He is now selling his home and the place is absolutely amazing. Do you want a private lake? How about a tennis court or a pool?
Here is the info courtesy of Wells’ realtor:
Impressive Jauregui built estate home in Vaquero with water view! Amenities include complete health center with exercise studio & batting cage, spa with sauna, jetted tub, massage room & salon, game room with media room & bar. Spacious guest suite has living room, kitchen & dual bedrooms. Sprawling master suite with sitting room & fireplace, outdoor terrace, luxurious master bath & closet extending into large laundry & utility room. Covered & open patios extend the length of the home with outdoor kitchen, stone fireplace, water feature & firepit. Infinity edge pool with slide, submerged barstools & attached spa.
What if I could offer it to you for $37,000 a month for the mortgage? That will limit any sale to an awfully small amount of people, normally.
Now I doubt that I would ever be able to afford Wells’ home but it has a lot of bang for the buck. Over 16,000 square feet and amenities out the wazoo? That is a very, very nice house.
