The new Nets player has got a new haircut as well.
A few years ago, Linsanity was a pretty big deal. The only Chinese-American player currently in the NBA had quite the following. During his time with the New York Knicks, Jeremy Lin’s popularity rose quickly, scoring his career-high 38 points against the Lakers and becoming a fan darling.
Traded after his 2012 season with the Knicks and bouncing around the country, Lin has finally landed back in the Big Apple, albeit for the Brooklyn Nets. The world got excited, especially Twitter, but the more important question became: What’s up with that hair, Jer-Bear?
Wow. Bold choice for a bold man.
Twitter, of course, lost its mind over the star’s new cut. Some loved it, some weren’t fans, and others wondered if Allen Iverson had been consulted first. Check the deck below to see some of our favorite Twitter reactions.
