Penguins fans expected to be celebrating another Stanley Cup in Pittsburgh on Thursday night. Instead, the home crowd was sent home in disgust after the Sharks sent the series back to San Jose with a 4-2 win.
As noted by The Big Lead, in addition to the 19,000 in attendance, about 40,000 fans gathered in downtown Pittsburgh to hopefully celebrate the Cup-clinching win.
