If you haven’t heard of Sandi Morris, you aren’t alone. Morris is a Pole Vaulter who is preparing for the Olympic Trials.. However, recently she had a bit of trouble as her pole actually snapped during the IAAF World Challenge this past week. As you can see from the above video, the pole snaps and actually injures Morris’ arm in the process. Luckily no serious damage was done, but scary nonetheless.
