Manchester United beat Crystal Palace by a score of 2-1 on Saturday to win the F.A. Cup, but it wasn’t enough to save the job of Louis van Gaal.
According to a report from Sky Sports, Jose Mourinho has agreed to be the next head coach of Manchester United.
The report has yet to be confirmed by Manchester United, but all signs point towards it happening very soon.
Sky Sports News HQ has been told Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes is due to fly to England from China on Tuesday to negotiate a deal.
The F.A. Cup title was little consolation to Manchester United fans as Gaal (and the team) struggled throughout the entire 2015-2016 campaign. We will see if Jose Mourinho can turn things around at Old Trafford.
