Well, it’s not nearly as heavy duty as his past indiscretions on social media but Curt Schilling is still generating a lot of heat.
The former big-league pitcher, who has repeatedly unleashed controversial and insensitive comments and opinions on Twitter and Facebook, including an anti-transgender image on Monday, posted an article mocking “scientists”:
Next time a “scientist” tries to tell you you don’t know what you’re talking about. https://t.co/OkE1RoWEv5
— Curt Schilling (@gehrig38) April 19, 2016
Unsurprisingly, it was greeted with negative responses:
@gehrig38 @pegobry how many times have you been hit in the head with a baseball?

@gehrig38 @pegobry what about when a pitcher tries to tell scientists they’re wrong?
— Joseph Onions (@JosephOnions) April 19, 2016
@gehrig38 Hmm do I pick scientist or a book written about an invisible man where people lived hundreds of years one even inside “a big fish”
