Jose Altuve attempted a trick on his former teammate Sunday.
Chris Carter, who played three seasons in Houston with Altuve, hit a double but didn’t call timeout after sliding into second base. This prompted Altuve to try out the hidden-ball trick by putting the ball in his back pocket.
It didn’t work, but he did succeed in making Carter laugh.
