Thankfully, Bennett’s collapse wasn’t serious (he suffered from dehydration) and the coach was able to return to the game in short order.
However, the phrase “Tony Bennett collapses” must have caused some panic among fans of the slightly more famous Tony Bennett as the singer took to Twitter to assure his confused followers that he was fine and that he was happy to hear that the more basketball-inclined Tony Bennett was doing alright as well.
I wanted to let all my fans know that Im ok. Glad to hear UVA coach Tony Bennett is fine after his fall. Congrats @UVAMensHoops on the win!
