Eight years ago, the Miami Heat selected Michael Beasley with the second overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. The 19-year-old was departing Kansas State after one year, one that saw him demolish opponents in posting one of the best freshman seasons in college basketball history.
He game never fully transitioned to the NBA and, despite a few decent seasons to start his career in Miami and Minnesota, he departed the league last year.
Now, according to ESPN’s Mark Stein, the Houston Rockets are bringing him back:
