After 12 seasons, Jared Allen is calling it quits. T
he five-time Pro Bowl defensive end was selected by the Chiefs in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft and spent four eventful seasons with the organization. He then terrorized quarterbacks for most of his six seasons in Minnesota before wrapping up with one-plus years in Chicago and half a season in Carolina.
He announced the conclusion to his Hall of Fame career, one that included with 136 sacks, 643 tackles and 31 forced fumbles, by trying to ride off into the sunset.
