Don’t expect DeAngelo Williams to don a Patriots uniform at any point in his career.
During a Twitter Q&A, the Steelers running back didn’t shy from throwing some shade at the Patriots organization, specifically head coach Bill Belichick. A fan mentioned New England would love to have Williams in the backfield, but according to Williams, Patriots players not named Tom Brady aren’t thrilled playing for Belichick.
From what I'm told only tom Brady likes the head coach so no thank u I'm happy where I am https://t.co/WILRq6FbSu

When another fan dissed Williams by reminding him he’s only been to the playoffs three times in 10 years, Williams fired back mentioning the “asterisks” the Patriots have to go along with their success.
Yeah all earned the hard way no Astris beside any of the wins or losses either 👀🤔 https://t.co/U4FZTcWrsA

We’re not sure why Williams decided to suddenly fire shots at the Patriots, but it’s safe to say he’s no longer welcome in the New England backfield after those harsh comments.
