The Lakers did a truly amazing thing for a young fan on Sunday.
The team signed 18-year-old Yitzi Teichman, who’s currently battling brain cancer, to a one-day contract. He told the Make-A-Wish foundation his one dream was to be a member of the Lakers, and they made that dream come true.
The Lakers gave Teichman his own press conference and allowed him to join the team’s shootaround as well as sit courtside. Kudos to the Lakers organization for an incredibly kind gesture.
