A scary moment took place in the AHL on Thursday night.
During a game between the San Diego Gulls and San Antonio Rampage, Gulls right winger and enforcer Brian McGrattan took on Daniel Maggio in a fight that certainly didn’t go his way. Maggio caught McGrattan with a punch that left him unconscious and laying on the ground until he was taken off the ice in a stretcher.
Luckily, McGrattan will be OK.

Perhaps the most disturbing part of the video is the fact people were cheering for a while after McGrattan laid motionless on the ice. That seems to be the opposite of what people should do.
