From free furniture, soft drinks and car washes to discounted burgers, TVs and bus tickets, businesses have embraced local fandom by offering free or discounted crap after big wins from local sports teams.
One Denver grocery store wanted to get in on the action by offering a discount to shoppers on Monday. Except that it wasn’t much of a discount.
No one is asking for free sirloin steaks or cases of beer but a measly 60 cents for an AFC title game berth seems weak:
