In their Week 8 loss to the St. Louis Rams, San Francisco 49ers running back Reggie Bush was pushed out of bounds on a routine punt return when he slipped on a concrete track that runs around the field. Bush tore his MCL on the play and now is planning to sue the city of St. Louis. Not sure how that lawsuit will pan out and this is the first I have ever heard of an athlete suing a city because of injury.
The 49ers, with Carlos Hyde out before the Bush injury, signed Pierre Thomas during the week to fill the vacant starting running back role.
