It’s one thing to miss a judgment call in a fast-moving game, but it’s a nothing thing to ignore the rules time after time. During a year in which officials across all sports are receiving as much heat as ever for botched calls, NBA officials continue to waddle around with a blatant disregard for traveling.
After we saw Thunder guard D.J Augustin take 13 steps (WITH THE REFEREE FIVE FEET AWAY!) earlier this week, Derek Rose committed an equally egregious traveling.
Maybe the Bulls-Thunder officials wanted to take one away from OKC after allowing Augustin to get away with one? Sounds like something the NBA would do.
