The Minnesota Vikings are playing host to the St. Louis Rams in Week 9 and Rams rookie phenom running back Todd Gurley has the attention of the Vikings defense. Gurley has burst on to the scene after missing the first few weeks of the season with a knee injury. He has started in four games and has already rushed for 575 yards, which is good for fifth in the NFL, and three touchdowns.
Vikings cornerback Captain Munnerlyn said that Gurley is, “Adrian Peterson all over again.” That is just about as high a praise as you can get as a running back in the NFL as Peterson will probably go down as one of the best to play the position in the modern game.
The Vikings are currently ranked 15th in rushing defense so they are going to have their hands full with #30.
