During his Wednesday press conference with reporters, Patriots coach Bill Belichick once again displayed his keen intellect when it comes to the world of social media.
After he was asked to clarify an answer that he had given on Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee, Belichick lightly ribbed the questioner for not paying enough attention to his answer the first time around.
Q: Did I hear you right that you said Sean Lee visited you as a kid in Cleveland or did I miss that?
BB: Yeah. What, were you on Snapface there when we were talking about it? He’s a Pittsburgh guy – friend of a friend kind of thing. He came out to practices a couple times. He wasn’t the star that he is now.
Q: You were on him early in the pre-Snapface days?
BB: Not really.
This is not the first time that Bill Belichick has “misnamed” a social network in the press. In addition to “Snapface,” Belichick stated that he didn’t have an “InstantFace” account earlier this year.
Last year, he rattled off “MyFace,” “YourFace” and “InstantFace” during a Q&A session with reporters as well.
One of two things needs to happen. Either someone needs to inform Bill Belichick that no popular social network has “Face” at the end of it or someone needs to hire Bill Belichick to create the names of all future social media apps because “SnapFace” and “InstantFace” are gold.
