On Monday, a report filed by the National Football Post detailed the reported frustrations and tensions within the Miami Dolphins locker room that ultimately culminated in Joe Philbin’s firing.
Among the post’s more glaring accusations was an allegation that Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill apparently mocked practice squad players who were able to make some turnovers against him during practice.
On Saturday during practice, Tannehill, after a couple of practice squad players forced turnovers, Tannehill made negative comments toward them, including saying: “Enjoy your practice squad paycheck, enjoy your practice squad trophy.”
While the language of what Tannehill actually said is in dispute, the news got the attention of former Patriots wide receiver Donté Stallworth, who then relayed how Tom Brady treated practice squad guys in New England as a point of comparison to Tannehill’s alleged antics.
Brady actually paid practice squad and look team guys if they picked him off in practice. http://t.co/7c4cDcI1ol

But comparing Tannehill to Brady is like comparing a rowboat to a battleship.

Stallworth went on to say that he understood Tannehill’s frustration but that his emotions didn’t excuse the reported language.
To be fair, no one goes full speed on walkthroughs. That's why they're called *drumroll* — "walkthroughs."

Also, no defensive players should be interrupting the offense in any way, shape or form the day before a game — and vice versa.

That's on the coaches, to be honest. The head coach and both coordinators to be exact.

Guys joke on each other all the time. Things people "outside" would probably call cruel but *if reports are true Tannehill crossed the line.

I understand his frustration, especially in a walkthrough the day before a game, the last look you get before kickoff, but that's too much.

I've never heard a teammate say that to another, not even in a joking manner. I really hope he didn't say that.

Because if it happened on more than one occasion, it's safe to say that he was not joking. Either way…

But at the end of the day, this speaks volumes to the disfunction of the Miami Dolphins. I feel bad for Dol-fans. They deserve a winner.

You know things are bad when a former Patriot says that he feels bad for Dolphins fans.
