Helen Fowler, described as a “Devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and lifelong Yankees fan” passed away on September 29th at the age of 85.
Her obituary, which was posted by The Star-Ledger, made sure to point out that there was one member of the Yankees that she wasn’t a fan of during her 85-years of devotion to the team:
Mrs. Fowler was a former member of the Cranford First Aid Squad and a lifelong Yankees fan, with the exception of Alex Rodriguez.
