In the offseason, everyone thought DeMarco Murray would be a force for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was coming off a huge season with the Dallas Cowboys so it was just assumed he would do much of the same with Philly.
As it turns out, Murray has been less than stellar so far for the Eagles. In the three games he has played so far, Murray has 29 carries for 47 yards and one touchdown. Those stats are not what people were expecting from the guy who won the rushing title last season.
Murray expressed his displeasure after the team’s 23-20 loss to division rival Washington. When asked if he thought he was getting enough touches, he responded, “Do I think I’m touching the ball? Umm…No I’m not. I don’t think I am.”
Not necessarily the greatest look for the Eagles who just spent $40 million to lure him away from Dallas.
