The Golden State Warriors will wear special jerseys when the team plays its season opener against the New Orleans Pelicans on October 27th.
Although subtle, the commemorative jerseys feature gold trim around the lettering of the team’s name, gold stitching for the adidas logo and the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
For those that want want one of these jerseys that will only be worn once by the Warriors themselves, they are already available for pre-order at the Warriors Team Store. At least they aren’t more expensive than the Warriors’ regular jerseys.
Members of the championship squad will also receive their championship rings and see the Warriors’ championship banner drop during a pre-game ceremony that will be attended by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.
