Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson decided to try his hands at throwing a football during the team’s QB bucket drill. Unfortunately for him, he lost.
Even more unfortunate for Peterson was the fact that there was a condition attached to the drill. According to Matt Barkley, because Peterson lost the QB drill, he had to dress up “in the ‘Minimalistic Racer’ outfit’ during warmups, which is apparently a pair of red short-shorts and the leftover tatters of a Cardinals warmup shirt. The ensemble ended up looking like a cross between the bro-iest gym-wear and a bib.
One has to hand it to Peterson though. The man took everything in stride and even promised that he wouldn’t lose the next drill competition.
I guess we’ll know who loses next week’s bucket drill by who is forced to wear a ridiculous outfit to team warmups on Sunday.
