On Tuesday, Bobby Wagner and some of his Seattle Seahawks teammates took to various Starbucks around the Seattle, Bellevue and Renton area in order to work as employees to benefit Seattle’s youth.

Cooper Helfet, Garry Gilliam, Brock Coyle, Cliff Avril and Ricardo Lockette joined Wagner in the Seahawks’ effort to ” raise awareness of A Better Seattle’s efforts in support of YMCA of Seattle’s Alive & Free street outreach workers” which works with at-risk youth in the area.

Although he wore the apron well, served drinks and signed autographs, Wagner told Starbucks afterwards that he personally didn’t make any of the orders that came in:

“They started me at the bottom,” he joked, adding that he thought he’d done all right for himself given he was new to the job.

On the other hand, it seems that Garry Gilliam was able to help make a drink at his Starbucks:
