Saying the Eagles looked bad during their Week 2 loss to the Cowboys would be a pathetically irresponsible understatement. The Eagles looked so bad that no single word or phrase can accurately sum up a performance that was more suited for a pee wee football game.
The team appears to have holes everywhere and because it’s extraordinarily difficult to fix numerous areas in the middle of the season, Chip Kelly’s team might need a miracle courtesy of a higher power.
And they happen to be in luck! Pope Francis is scheduled to visit the City of Brotherly Love this week and the Philadelphia Daily News has a great idea for him:
