Now that his contract situation is settled for the foreseeable future, Russell Wilson is reportedly throwing down some real money for a new pad in Bellevue, Washington.
According to TMZ, the seven bedroom, seven bathroom 10,740 square-feet house cost Wilson $6.7 million. It comes with a private dock on Lake Washington, a “giant spiral staircase”, a personal movie theater and a wine cellar.
The reported sale is a bit of a surprise as it seems that Wilson was only just contemplating buying a house a few days ago. In an interview for “The Dan Patrick Show” on Thursday, Wilson seemed to allude to the fact that he was in the process of house hunting.
“I’ll probably end up buying a house now,” Wilson told Dan Patrick. “My agent, Mark [Rodgers], would never let me get a house until I signed a deal. So that will be the first thing I get … I was in the renting process. Now I think I can finally buy a home.”
Guess he found one that he loved rather quickly.
