Robbie Chernow had planned on flying into Chicago for a good time at his friend’s bachelor party. Unfortunately for him, he was the only one who was actually able to make the trip.
According to Taylor Ortega of Elite Daily, Chernow’s friends had their flight to the Windy City cancelled, leaving poor Robbie all alone by himself. Rather than hole himself up in his hotel with some room service, Robbie took to the streets of Chicago and recorded his unplanned solo trip on Instagram through #ChicagoForOne.
One the bright side, Robbie accomplishing a lot!
He attended a Bears preseason game.
He played around with Tinder to kill some time.
He got to go on a boat tour.
Seriously, it looks like Robbie is having a blast.
His inspirational story of persevering through unintended hardship inspired one of Robbie’s friends to start a GoFundMe page for his Chicago adventure.
As of this writing, the GoFundMe page has raised $167 of the $250 goal. Such is the power of the internet.
Hopefully, Robbie is able to make plenty of new friends on his trip. Judging by the comments on his #ChicagoForOne photos, it seems that there are plenty of Chicago-residents willing to hit him up.
