Golfer Paige Spiranac has really blown up over the past year. The former San Diego State University golfer lit the internet on fire with her Instagram page this summer, going from 15,000 followers in July to 273,000 followers today. Last month, she also made some videos for Callaway Golf, including one on how to make viral golf clips.
Still, Paige’s new-found fame isn’t purely based on her social media prowess. Paige has serious aspirations to make it in the LPGA. According to an interview that she conducted with Pacific San Diego magazine, Spiranac turned pro in August and her first professional tournament will take place this month.
“I’d love to be on the LPGA [Tour],” Spiranac says. “That’s the Number One goal, chasing that dream.”
In addition to her profile for Pacific San Diego, Paige also participated in a fantastic photo shoot for the publication. Check out the pictures below and make sure to keep your eye out for Spiranac at future golf tournaments.
