Matt Cassel has been the veteran QB for Buffalo a while.
The Bills have also not been very good for a while. EJ Manuel and Tyrod Taylor are making a really strong push for Cassel’s position as starting QB though. Manuel had this really nice 67-yard TD pass over the middle earlier in today’s game against the Steelers. And now, Taylor is making his own case for the job with a more than impressive 20-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter of the same game.
.@TyrodTaylor is playing like the @buffalobills‘ starting QB. Check the wheels on this 20-yard TD. #PITvsBUF http://t.co/DJpfoz3QnP

T-Mobile really put the jets on to get to the end zone on that play. He beat two guys to put up the points, splitting the defense to get there and just barely avoiding a tackle at the end. That kind of athleticism is tough to teach. By the first snap of the season, we better see Taylor to start the game. But to be fair, Cassel made the highlight tape too, just not in the most flattering light.
