Jurassic World may have been the smash hit of the year (according to Box Office Mojo, the film has made $1.6 billion since its release) but if you’re one of the few people who hasn’t seen the third highest grossing movie of all time, then this hilarious 90 second short by BrotherhoodWorkshop done entirely with LEGOs is a great way to get yourself caught up with the cultural zeitgeist.
The stop motion is impressively smooth and the animators did a fantastic job recreating some of the film’s most memorable shots, all while highlighting some of the questionable leaps of logic that the movie has its characters make in service of gigantic dinosaur fights. Still, the most astute observation that the LEGO-based short makes has to be that Chris Pratt’s Owen is nowhere near as cool as Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord.
