According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, Michigan Wolverine Football will be the first football team to rock Jordan Brand’s famous Jumpman logo as a team’s official endorser.
Michigan FOOTBALL will now wear Jordan brand/Jumpman logo instead of Nike swoosh. Will be 1st football team to do so.

Previously, Nike had only planned on having Jordan Brand represent Michigan basketball.
The news may seem surprising at first blush because, well, Jordan Brand is primarily known as a basketball brand, not a football one. However, this was always a possibility given that Jordan Brand is a subsidiary of Nike, who announced a $169 million apparel deal with Michigan last month. Jordan Brand also has professional football players on its roster ranging from Dez Bryant and Earl Thomas to ex-Michigan player LaMarr Woodley.
Hell, Jordan Brand already makes retro Jordan cleats, so it’s not like the Jumpman is ill-equipped to supply Michigan Football with some nice gear.
Hopefully, Jordan Brand is able to whip together a mean pair of khakis for Jim Harbaugh as well.
