Reactions to the bizarre Geno Smith training camp incident are rolling in and although it’s impossible to pick the best or most hilarious reactions, ESPN’s NFL “expert” Cris Carter gave one of the more interesting ones. The Hall of Famer joined SportsCenter to break down the sucker punch that will keep Geno Smith out for 6-10 weeks.
We’ll never know the exact events that surrounded the sucker punch, thus making it pointless to argue or offer opinions on who is to blame. Unless Carter has some inside scoop (doubtful) that doesn’t wish to share with anyone, his hot take on Smith’s role comes across as quite amusing:
“It’s a lack of leadership on Geno Smith’s part that he would put himself in harms way to get sucker punched” Cris Carter on @SportsCenter
