Rory McIlroy is back (sort of). The four-time major winner posted a video to his Instagram account of him taking some cuts with his driver. It comes exactly two months after he ruptured an ankle ligament while playing soccer and one week before the PGA Championship is scheduled to begin at Whistling Straits.
It’s unclear if he plans to play in the tournament or continue to allow his ankle to rest. He is the defending champion after winning the 2014 title at Valhalla. McIlroy also won in 2012.
