Jen Welter has already made history as the NFL’s most first female coach but the former semi-pro football player has a chance to make an even bigger difference in lives of many young women. She’ll work with the linebackers as an assistant coaching intern during training camp and preseason for Arizona Cardinals and although it’s unclear if head coach Bruce Arians has long-term plans for Welter, she appears intent on making the most of the opportunity from both a professional and influential standpoint.
During her first press conference in her new position, she answered questions and delivered some impactful messages for young men:
