As it turns out, Michael Jordan was pretty good at the game of basketball in the early stages of career.
Recent footage of MJ playing some pickup basketball at Chapel Hill in North Carolina was uploaded by Team Flight Brothers confirms that Jordan didn’t take any nights off when it came to hoops, even as he was recovering from a broken foot when this footage was recorded.
Here’s some Rare footage for you youngsters of Michael Jordan playing pick-up ball on the UNC Campus in 1986 while recovering from his broken foot.
(Jordan broke his foot at the start of the 1985-86 season and wasn’t fully recovered until the 1986-87 season.)
Judging by this stunning video, it seems that Jordan’s foot was definitely on the mend by the time this was filmed.
