The ESPYS have grown into a legitimate award show where athletes and celebrities show up on the red carpet, have some self-congratulatory jokes cracked at their expense in a huge auditorium of their peers and receive awards that inevitably cause a ton of complaints online.
Of course, because the ESPYS is an award show in ever sense of the term, people dress to impress. Thankfully, there was no stiff tuxedo/gown requirement at the event and the celebrities and athletes at the ESPYs took full advantage of their freedom to wear some great (and some not so great) colors and patterns.
Check out some of the attendees who dressed themselves up the best for the ESPNYS above. Marquette King’s Superman look was definitely a highlight.
