It’s no secret that DeMarcus Cousins and George Karl have bad blood. Despite opposition from owner Vivek Ranadivé and vice president of basketball operations Vlade Divac, the newly appointed head coach of the Sacramento Kings made it no secret that he was open to trading Cousins for the right package. And in even worse news for Kings fans, there were whispers that Karl was targeting his old players from his Denver days — Ty Lawson and Kenneth Faried — a package worth substantially less than what Cousins is worth.
Cousins, who rightfully didn’t take the rumors very well, tweeted emojis of a snake hiding in the grass in response to Karl’s deception, proving that his emoji game is right up there with the best of ’em.

The result has been radio silence ever since, at least up until now when Karl greeted Cousins with an awkward handshake and hello.

Deuce Mason is right. We will overanalyze this video. Cousins walking away from Karl most likely means nothing. But on the off-chance that it does mean something, Cousins sure would look good in purple and gold.
