Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night to discuss his contract situation but as exciting (as in incredibly boring) as that subject is to anyone who doesn’t chant “12th Man” in their sleep, the best part of the interview revolved around Wilson’s relationship with his girlfriend Ciara.
Kimmel showed this video from Ciara’s Instagarm, where the singer recorded her own self-proclaimed allegiance to Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (although, to be fair, the video is about a half-year old) and asked if Wilson had seen it.
Chuckling a little, Russell responded, “Well, that was our first argument. I saw that about a week ago.”
Wilson then revealed Ciara’s explanation for her Patriots allegiance, although the Seahawks QB sounded a little skeptical about his girlfriend’s reasoning:
“Her response was the following week she was cheering for the Seattle Seahawks and that she was rooting for us the whole time. I don’t know.”
Something tells us that Wilson got over that “argument” pretty quickly.
