Pablo Sandoval is known for swinging at pitches outside the strike zone, but this is just plain ridiculous.
The Boston Red Sox third baseman swung at an extremely high knuckleball from R.A. Dickey and somehow managed to make contact. He grounded out, but just being able to get the bat on the ball seems like enough of an accomplishment in this case.

The old saying for hitting off knuckleballers is, “If it’s high, let it fly. If it’s low, let it go.” The Panda took that a bit too literally.
