The Golden Stick Wiffle Ball League’s slogan is “A Backyard Game Taken Way Too Far…” and judging from highlights, that’s an extremely accurate description of professional wiffle ball. The GSWL is not the only wiffle ball league but appears to be the most organized, respected and wide-ranging, holding events in 15 cities and sanctioning over 350 events since their inception in 2002.
And just to be clear, this is nothing like the wiffle ball you played as kiddos in your backyard. From the complexity and speed of pitching to incredible hitting discipline, professional wiffle ball is simply unreal.
