The Warriors will enter the NBA Finals with both Splash Brothers ready to go.
Klay Thompson had suffered a concussion during Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals when Trevor Ariza inadvertently drove his knee into Thompson’s ear.
With concussions being a relatively hard injury to give a timetable for return, the Warriors and their fans had to be relieved to hear that Thompson had passed the league’s concussion protocols on Tuesday.
RT @gswstats: OFFICIAL: Klay Thompson has completed the NBA's concussion protocol and has been cleared to play in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

While Thompson’s stats have suffered a slight dip during the playoffs, there’s no doubt that he’s essential for the space that he provides the Warriors on offense and the tenacity that he displays on defense. In 15 games played this postseason, Thompson is averaging 19.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game. He’s shooting .459 from the field and .425 from distance.
