Former NFL quarterback Jim Kelly was on We Need To Talk to give his views on Deflategate and the Bills icon stated that there’s “no doubt” that Brady knew what was going on with regards to Deflategate.
Despite the fact that Kelly considers Brady to be “a good friend of [his]”, he didn’t spare Brady at all when it came to the fallout of Deflategate:
“There’s no doubt. I mean, if you really think about it, there’s no way that an equipment manager in the National Football League is going to do something to the football without the greatest quarterback to ever play knowing that ‘Hey, I did something to this football but he doesn’t know about it.’
He knows but the thing is you do something like that, you’re going to get caught. And Tom didn’t need to do that. He’s a good friend of mine but why? He could throw a football if it was over-inflated or deflated, whatever.”
