ESPN’s Neil Everett is one of the best SportsCenter anchors out there, and we love the guy. What he does on a nightly basis is wildly impressive and the man deserves to have a weird moment every now and then.
Well, that weird moment came on Tuesday night following the Warriors 110-106 win over the Rockets in the Western Conference Finals.
Neil responded to a fellow analyst with ““It’s like the scarecrow in Oz, you get too close to the fire, eventually you’re going to get burned.” But then he realized what he said made absolutely no sense and the awkward silence happened.
Just. So. Weird.
