Game 5 was shaping up to be a fairly tale night for the Washington Wizards before Al Horford emphatically… collected an offensive rebound and gently lofted the ball back into the hoop with 1.9 seconds to go to give the Hawks a 3-2 series lead.
Yes, not even the return of John Wall and another clutch shot by Paul Pierce with less than ten seconds was enough to beat the Horford from scoring the winning basket in the most decidedly YMCA-like way.
Still the way this series has gone, Game 6 promises to be a blast, even if Horford’s put-back was kinda underwhelming.
