Baseball has been around for nearly 150 years and while you’d think the game had seen everything, Wednesday, April 29th brings something new. Until Wednesday’s Orioles-White Sox game at Camden Yards in Baltimore, there has never been a MLB game closed to the public.
The decision to close the ballpark’s gates was made amidst the ongoing police brutality protests and riots in the aftermath of Freddie Gray’s death. The first two games of the series were postponed but the third will be played, with Orioles Executive VP of Baseball Operations Dan Duquette saying, “It would have been very difficult to make up all three games, so we needed to play that game on Wednesday. You just try to do the best you can in this kind of situation.”
Despite the move, and although the game will be broadcast on local TV and MLB.com, there is still one way to watch the game live: Hilton Baltimore Hotel
If you are really adamant of seeing today's Orioles game @darrenrovell , you could book a field view at the Hilton. https://t.co/6CRzhQBFvB

@powersco @darrenrovell Cheapest room I found on the Hilton website was $199 looking over the field. A balcony party would be great.
