The Los Angeles Clippers suffered a brutal Game 5 loss to the Spurs on Tuesday night, a loss marked by a couple questionable whistles and one huge goaltending call in the final seconds. As Clippers fans go about their Wednesday, they will undoubtedly be pissed about those questionable whistles and feel they played well enough to grab a massive win. That frustration will only be fueled by the postgame comments from head coach Doc Rivers.
He directly ripped the officials and basically dared the NBA to fine him, a fine that will definitely come this week, assuming they treat his comments similarly to those of Rick Carlisle earlier in the playoffs.
